Re: Pre Season Friendlies 2024-2025
That karaoke was some of the most cringe worthy clips I have seen. Felt sorry for all those who were subjected to it. That aside, the appointment of a fitness coach is a big statement and probably part of the negotiations for Adys appointment (I'd guess it was him pushing for it). Hopefully it will ...

Re: Player news
For whatever reason he didn't feature much under Ady, for the last half a dozen games. Only assume it's his decision as he hasn't been listed on the departures list

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Maybe the club could choose certain games to try and boost the attendance, by offering someone who pays to get in on the door (or season ticket holder), a buy one get one half price voucher?

Re: Pre Season Friendlies 2024-2025
I'm not usually bothered about pre season friendlies, but will be probably go to one or two. Seems like a reasonable mix of games so far, could maybe do with another lower ranked team though

Re: Player news
Very pleased with Samir, he played 37 games for Chelmsford last season, still prone to a few yellow cards, but I accept that as part of his game. Sure he will be a valuable asset to us in the Isthmian prem (no disrespect meant). The keeper hasn't been a regular for them and appears to have had to wa...

Re: Player news
Looks like we will be seeing many new faces, after last season that is probably best for all concerned. If we hear the B word mentioned anytime soon I will start to worry, otherwise it's just a case of wait and see... But hopefully some local talent out there, that it will mean something to them to ...

Re: Player news
Great to see both putting pen to paper, as it shows commitment not to jump ship when the going gets tough. We need guys like this in the team that want to play for the shirt.
Look forward to hearing news of other signings

Dave Skinner memorial trophy Wednesday 1st May 7pm kick off
https://twitter.com/dartfordfc/status/1783470937339216103?t=7W4f6RhiZJlKTaljoyy1_A&s=19 I thought I would add this on hear in case people didn't know. Couldn't see it mentioned on the main website. May not exactly be first team news, but thought it may be missed otherwise. £2 entrance, free for ...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
A worthy note Taunton, I would add that the club need to interact with fans to let them know how best anyone with spare time can help the club too. It should be a two way thing I'd say.

Re: The state of Dartford football club
We have definitely dropped a bollock, I think the board will hopefully reflecting on this and sort out the mess. I give them credit for finally backing down on the banning of the youth, albeit much longer than it should have been. Hopefully it went can get the constructive points across through the ...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
I wonder if the council would allow us to advertise on market days in the town? Perhaps a stall and a few volunteers handing out flyers and money off tickets would help attract more locals to the club? I used to do this on Saturday mornings in the town I didn't realise mate. Would be good to see th...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Do we get posters of forthcoming matches around the area or has that fallen off since Maurice died - he was unstinting in his efforts on this front Haven't seen them around for a long time, didn't know it had lapsed due to someone passing. Perhaps the club could make them available for people to sh...

Re: The state of Dartford football club
Should we expect some sort of announcement from the club regarding our relegation? Personally I would expect something apart from thanking the fans for attending despite the poor season we have had, so fans can buy into next season - the sooner the better IMO

Re: Yeovil Town v Dartford Sat 13 Apr 2024
Sadly you are spot on. The rot amongst the players need to go and take a long hard look at themselves. We would have probably been bottom half contenders in the Isthmian Premier this season, absolute dire rubbish.

Re: Dartford v Worthing Tue 9 Apr 2024
Well i'm guessing your referring to me Matt because as far as i can see i'm the only one whose made reference to it on this thread. IMO our previous manager was the worse i can ever remember in my 50+ years of watching DFC, on and off the field. From the forced fun karaoke as soon as he arrived to ...

Slough now 4 nil up, helps out on the goal difference if it comes to that.
