Re: News from around the National League South
Not that it’s going to affect us, but the battle for survival in the NL will be interesting tomorrow with all games kicking off at 12:15 and one of Woking, Wealdstone, Ebbsfleet, Borehamwood or York City to join beleaguered Oxford City, Dorking and Kidderminster (our empaths). Wow. Good job I read ...

Re: Dartford v Truro City Sat 20 Apr 2024
As bloody awful as this season has been, the facts are that if we had beaten Eastbourne we would now be favourites to stay up. Just that one result would have meant that we would have been in control of our own destiny today and may even have survived losing today against Truro. Small margins eh? I...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
Agree with Rambo on the over 50's. I must be very close to him. There are a few 50-70 year olds that go ballistic and when they do the language towards opposition players and referees is in some cases, vile. To be fair on most of the old uns, it ain’t the majority, in fact it’s probably just...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
All the above , what a fantastic level headed reply This is what most other clubs do already And some should of been implemented long ago I hope the right people have read this post 👌 I think the ‘right people’ will have read it. Whether they do more than merely ‘take note’ is anyone’s guess. Massi...

Re: CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS
I’m here to help out in any capacity I can - for a 63yr old duffer who can’t stand for extended periods. Club or DFCSA. Just holler.

Can you imagine that this season? they’d be handing money out at the exits!!Hitchin Dart79 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 9:00 am Pay what you want game could be good to generate some interest. Has worked well at other clubs who have done it

Re: The state of Dartford football club
Should we expect some sort of announcement from the club regarding our relegation? Personally I would expect something apart from thanking the fans for attending despite the poor season we have had, so fans can buy into next season - the sooner the better IMO Ha ha! Fifteen days late with that one ...

Re: News from around the National League South
It’s equally important to retain the supporters we do have as well as attracting new ones. Any early signs of a further slump and we’ll quickly be down to 600 for home games. I’ll still be one of the 600 (sorry a few of you 😉) but many will seek their footie pleasure fix elsewhere. That’s the nature...

Re: Dartford v Worthing Tue 9 Apr 2024
There’s not many out of the whole squad I’d keep. In fact I’d go as far as to say they’re not even good enough for next season in the IPL. What a disaster. Gotta get it right in the summer Ade and team.

Re: Dartford v Worthing Tue 9 Apr 2024
How long have we been facing ‘must win’ games though? I reckon we’ve won only one of them. The fat lady won’t be there tonight but she might be on the coach to Yeovil.

Re: News from around the National League South
Torquay 2-0 up against Truro, don't think that's a good result for us to be honest Of all the straws we’re desperately trying to grasp, I’m not sure it matters the outcome of this one. Truro are under more pressure to win all of their games in such a short space of time. I think Torquay have the be...
