Agree with Spike. A must win game and we only manage a draw, which in the circumstances almost feels like a loss.
In truth we didn't deserve any more than the draw.

Re: Dartford Players of The Past
A friend of mine invited me yesterday on a boardroom hospitality package to Southend vs Ebbsfleet. Good to see our old player Noor Husin play again, he looked very comfortable at that level. Also good to see Ebbsfleet loose 3 - nil. In other Dartford connections meet again John Still who is Southend...

Re: Aveley v Dartford Sat 26 Aug 2023
I really liked Aveley's new ground, thought it was very neat, although still not a fan of artificial pitches, very high bounce. Massive result that will really help the confidence of the team and management but in truth it was a very poor match with very little quality from either team. With two big...

Re: Pre season friendly Billericay v Dartford Sat 29 July 2023
Billericay were very aggressive, which resulted in a bad tempered game littered with free kicks, far from a friendly. The penalty shout was at least 1 meter inside the area but the referee was so bullied by the Billericay players, he didn't have the guts to give it. In truth we were pretty mediocre....

When looking at the highlights, I also concluded that Azeez handled for his goal. good spot Steve.
Should have been picked up by the linesman.

Re: Dartford v Bath City Sat 19 Feb 2022
Not a great performance and at 1-0 going into injury time it was always a bit nervy but in truth
Bath created very little although they had a lot of possession. So job well done.
Stonewall penalty in the 2nd minute when Jake tripped from behind but ref not brave enough to give
one so early.

Re: Dartford v Ebbsfleet Tue 1 Feb 2022
Surprised nobody noticed/mentioned that Fleet played the last 10/15mins with 10 men having used all their
substitutes and another going off injured. Or was it tactics by their manager as they have become used to
not having 11 on the pitch for 90 minutes lately.

Re: Tonbridge Angels v Dartford Sat 29 Jan 2022
Much better performance than against Concord (but frankly that wasn't hard), great to get a win in the league at last. Danny MOM, two well taken goals and could have had his hat-trick but for an excellent last ditch tackle from Tonbridge, also a foul on Danny that resulted in the Jebb free kick goal...

Re: Dartford v Concord Rangers Tue 25 Jan 2022 - KO 7.45
Its all been said already but to reiterate.
Very poor performance and up there as one of the worst football matches I have ever seen, two very poor teams
that both looked like relegation candidates. Only plus was somehow we managed not to get defeated.

Re: Dartford v Hampton & Richmond Sat 22nd Jan 2022 - 3pm
Not sure if we have gone backwards or other teams have just got better. In many recent performances we have been out battled and out worked by the opposition and yesterday especially in the 2nd half, that was very much the case. Hampton looked fitter and faster than us across most positions. On so m...

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021
Agree with others Oxford looked the best team we have played all season. They seemed super fit and worked very hard in closing us down, then passed the ball crisply in possession. At half time I would have taken the draw but at the end, felt we should have won it, with our improved second half perfo...
