Is he aware that we've been relegated from the NLS?
A great signing if this actually goes through.

Re: London Senior Cup Semi Final - Hendon v Dartford Tue 23 Apr 2024
Nine goals for a fiver. Excellent value for money. Good to see the academy lads are being taught to play in the right way. Despite conceding six their heads didn’t drop and they constantly looked to play positive attacking football. Defensive naivety cost them today, but that only improves with time...

Re: London Senior Cup Semi Final - Hendon v Dartford Tue 23 Apr 2024
We are really struggling defensively. This could be a long second half.
No complaints though, with half the team made up of academy players we can’t expect too much. It’s clearly a big step up against what looks to be a strong Hendon team.

Re: London Senior Cup Semi Final - Hendon v Dartford Tue 23 Apr 2024
30 mins on the clock and we could quite easily be 6-0 down. Smith has just hit the bar, but aside from that it has been one way traffic.

Re: Dartford v Worthing Tue 9 Apr 2024
It’s the same old story at home. A decent performance for a large part of the game and then we press the self destruct button. Last time it was the goalkeeper, this time Nembhard somehow misses a basic header and lets their attacker in to score. It’s so boring seeing this week after week after week....

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
Well that was an absolutely atrocious performance by a team who, while not mathematically relegated, are mentally already in the Ithsmian league. Contrast that with an Eastbourne team who believe and play like they can save themselves. I’m severely unimpressed with Pennock. I’m assuming the board ap...

Re: Dartford v Eastbourne Borough Mon 1 Apr 2024
What a dreadful half. A shocking error from our goalkeeper to gift Eastbourne a goal. Block and Barzey both off injured. And now it’s raining (again).

Re: Dartford v Aveley - Tue 27 Feb 2024
79 minutes into a good performance we switch off at a corner, leaving an Aveley player unmarked on the edge of the box, who is then able to take a touch and find the bottom corner. Almost instantly our full back doesn’t deal with a high ball and Terrell gives away the penalty. Basics have let us dow...

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Tue 13 Feb 2024
We had a good spell where we should have scored three goals before half time. We failed to take those chances, and then it seemed strangely inevitable that we’d lose 0-1. After going behind we never looked like equalising. We are a bad team who don’t have the fight to get out of trouble. I cannot se...

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Tue 21 Nov 2023
Pre red card, that was an utterly dreadful performance. We play like it’s the 95th minute, but for the whole game. It’s always plan B; lumping balls into the box, hoping for a flick on, a lucky bounce, a deflection, or an opponent making a mistake. Truly awful to watch. After the red card, it wasn’t...

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford City Tue 7 Nov 2023
Seemed like the Chelmsford player left one on Bradbury earlier in the second half, which wasn’t seen by the ref (The same player also shoved Bradbury in the first half, which the ref chose not to book him for). Unfortunately Bradbury wasn’t so stealthy in his retribution. That was the icing on the c...

Re: Dartford v Taunton Town - Thu 13 April 2023
Well that was awful. We hit the woodwork twice, but Taunton still deserved the win.
Yet again it was aimless ball after aimless ball smashed into the opposition half for Bradbury to chase after.
We might be second but the football we’ve been playing since the turn of the year is miserable.

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Sat 5 Nov 2022
A Great performance against a team barely interested in playing football until they went one nil down. Time wasting, play acting, anti-football. I feel sorry for their fans who have to watch this every week. Every player stood up in the second half- we worked harder and had quality all over the pitc...

Re: Dulwich Hamlet v Dartford Sat 8 Oct 2022
A really scrappy game that looked like it was heading for a draw until an excellent header from Sheringham won us the three points. A goal and an assist for Samir, who ran the show in the second half after being moved to a more central position. Player of the season is already his to lose. Dowson ma...

Re: Steve King
King's contract ran until the end of the 23/24 season, so there must have been a seriously good reason to sack him. Obviously we aren't privy to what's gone on behind the scenes (until the club's further statement), but purely based on performances I think this is a harsh dismissal. King's league re...

Re: Dartford v Braintree Town Mon 2 May 2022
A dreadful performance from Dartford, with Braintree collecting three well deserved points. Six changes from Saturday and unsurprisingly we looked like a bunch of strangers. Dinanga came off after an hour on Saturday, why not do the same today? All aside from Bonner and Charles-Cook were very poor t...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Mon 18 Apr 2022
We weren’t good enough on the day, so there’s not really any excuses to be made. Maidstone weren’t easy on the eye but they got the job done. Their two centre-backs defended well and didn’t give up many chances. The first half was pretty even affair, but we seemed to run out of steam in the second h...

Re: Chippenham v Dartford Sat 12 Mar 2022
Murtagh's first yellow was extremely harsh. I can't see why the challenge deserved a yellow, unless he was booked for dissent. It's hard to argue against the second yellow though- studs up on the shin after a poor first touch. Would we have lost that game with eleven on the pitch for the second half...

Re: Player news
It’s disappointing to see someone who has played 200 games for the club leave for pastures new. Hopefully the club will announce this properly and give Vint the send off he deserves.
