That's just chillout music Rick. No commentary that I can find.

Bought mine too ... and concessions are for over 60s so that extra £3 is going to make my Christmas just that tiny bit more special.

Anyone else made themselves jump by accidentally smashing some light bulbs at the top of this screen? Little things ...

Re: Barred from Wembley

This sort of thing is even more annoying when you see how the people dictating these sort of rules have consistently demonstrated that they think they don't apply to them personally. You should have told them you were meeting up with Downing Street staff inside the stadium, for a Christmas beano.

We'll be fine as long as Jan Zelezny and Fatima Whitbread aren't Maidstone fans.

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021

Paul Hurley spoke to Maidstone and this is the latest information... The covered bit in between the sets of fans creating the divide has been increased from 10 metres to 22 metres. Stewards have been doubled although from memory I think there was only around 7/8 anyhow. However the numbers have been...

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Sat 11 Dec 2021

The 5th and myself will both be missing this one due to poor stewarding in our allocated end and the Maidstone fans adjacent to us throwing coins and insults during the previous cup game. Plus the poor allocation and having to go on line to book tickets means I would sooner spend the money on Xmas ...

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021

I never thought this would be an easy 3 points this afternoon. With other games going our way, as other big hitters take a knock back , it's further evidence of how very competitive this division is, and it's getting stronger every season. (The sooner we get out of it the better). I heard someone r...

Re: Dartford v Billericay Sat 4 Dec 2021

So after a trio of cup successes amongst a run of 6 games unbeaten, it's back to the bread and butter of league football and the visit of bottom of the table, Billericay, who by contrast have lost their last 6 league matches. However, they did hold Maidstone to a draw in last week's FA Trophy game b...

Re: FA Trophy 3rd round - Saturday December 18th

Those of us who were around when our club was resurrected will remember what a great help Cray were when we really needed it. Had they not let us share their facilities at a very reasonable rate then we might not even be around to play this match. We will never forget that, but grateful as I am, I s...

Re: FA Trophy Second Round Proper - Bath City v Dartford Sat 27 Nov 2021

Overall, a very even game that really could have gone either way, with Bath having the better of the first half and Darts the second. The thermometer said 3C but the vicious icy wind felt like needles in the face and even Captain Oates may have felt inclined to go back inside. Although Darts played ...

Re: Dartford v Whitstable Kent Cup Final 2019/20 - Wednesday 24 November 2021

Very clinical demolition job on a plucky Whitstable side who kept trying to go forward despite the score-line. They have one or two decent players with a bit of pace who did pose us a few problems now and then. Their goal was a thing of beauty and they brought a fair few fans with them too. Neverthe...

Re: Hemel Hempstead v Dartford Sat 20 Nov 2021

A very good win against an in-form Hemel side. There have been one or two moans about loaning out some of our players but it seems to me to have worked perfectly. Hyde and Vint are both quality footballers but the other players in the side were playing well and deservedly holding their place. Surely...

Re: Who are ya?

I see there's a certain few here notably missing. ;) There are, and I wouldn't be surprised to find that hidden amongst them is a long time denigrator of all things DFC who has reinvented himself with a new name. Maybe building credibility by posting a few semi-positive comments, with a view to pla...

Re: London Senior Cup 2nd Round - Dartford v Cockfosters FC Tuesday 16th November

The linesman on the wooden man side has made some of the most baffling decisions that I have seen in ages. He's flagged for offside against Dartford on a couple of occasions despite being about 10 yards further up the pitch than the last Cockfosters defender! 🙄. Instead of looking straight across t...

Re: Dartford v Oxford City Sat 13 Nov 2021

Cracking game of football, gutted we didn't win, but no lack of effort by either side. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Between Jebb and Meade for MOTM, I went for Jebb. Fantastic crowd and a cracking atmosphere. The only thing missing was that all important winning goal. The biggest disappointment fo...

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Sat 6 Nov 2021

A couple of disappointing results doesn't change my view that this is a phenomenally strong squad. I didn't expect to win EVERY game and I have every confidence that this is going to be a successful season. Keep the faith guys. ps. I hope I'm wrong, but I do also feel that SK is a bit over optimisti...

Re: Yate v Dover FA Cup Abandoned

What a sad sorry tinpot outfit are Dover. If their fans aren't already suffering enough this season, those that travelled all the way down to Yate, still get a massive kick in the teeth from their own club. Pathetic .
