Re: Dartford v Hemel Hempstead Town Sat 23 Mar 2024

We worked and tried hard but with no real quality up front to put the ball in the net we were always going to struggle to get the 3 points. Hemel were better than I expected and when they nicked a goal I thought Hastag utd here we come. Paul Rooney not a great footballer but he gives 100% got us bac...

Re: Dartford v Maidstone Utd Sat 16 Mar 2024

Maidstone didn't look much first half but I had a feeling in the last seconds of the half they might nick a goal and their bloke did hit it well. Second half showed our old faults, Greenidge reminds me of Wall except he's not as mobile. I believe some of the Tonbridge faithful called him the sideboa...

Christ Welling win 1-0 at Yeovil what an appointment Rod Stringer has been for them. Our fate depends on Taunton and Truro being able to play their outstanding games.

Re: News from around the National League South

I suppose he can afford to work free for Hemel after the payoff I presume he got from Dartford, I wonder if Martin Tyler and the rest of the crew joined Hemel as a job lot. Should be a very interesting game when we play them.

Re: Dartford v Taunton Town Sat 24 Feb 2024

Totally toothless upfront until Olly Box and Wall came on , perhaps had they got on earlier we might have nicked it. Luke Coulson worked hard. Taunton seemed very happy with their point. So the Ref was total shite what else is new in the NLS.

Re: Another match at Princes Park on Weds Feb 14 2024

According to Kent Online there was a sell out crowd of 4000 for the above game. Arsenal won 4-0. I wonder what crowds London City Lionesses normally get at Princes Park?

Re: Bath City v Dartford Sat 10 Feb 2024

Looking at the League Table we are still 6 points ahead of Welling, Dover look dead and buried and I can't believe Taunton with all their problems will survive so hopefully our shite luck will change and we will grind out the results to avoid relegation.

Jesus things are getting desperate, and we lose Chinny to a loan deal to Bath. The way things are going I can see Carl Rook returning.

Re: News from around the National League South

According to the Kentish Football website our old mate from Chelmsford Rod Stringer might be in with a chance of the Welling job? and some sadistic Dartford supporter has suggested on the Welling forum that Dowse is available. Haven't the Welling supporters suffered enough.

Re: Dartford v Weymouth Sat 27 Jan 2024

Sadly Tony did not have a magic wand to wave, first half OK second half poor. Another injury to one of our better players who joins Chinny and the kid from Gillingham on the side lines. Lewis Manor goes to Hornchurch another player who in my opinion was never given a chance its a shame Tony couldn't...

Re: Harvey Bradbury

According to the Farnborough manager Spencer Day they paid a Fee to sign him, I wonder how much? Harvey lives in Portsmouth so it was a fair old trot for him to play for Dartford.

Re: News from around the National League South

Welling's attractive home game against National League leaders Chesterfield in the FA Trophy turned out to be a damp squib, Chesterfield fielded their entire Academy team. Welling won 2-0 and on the bright side they won 5 grand prize money and a step nearer Wembley.

Re: Alan Dowson sacked

Alleluia, I was always sceptical about his appointment and his band of "Dads Army" advisors who he never appeared to listen to. Injury prone players like Tommy Block, dismal tactics. The writing on the wall for me was when we were stuffed by Beckenham Town in the FA cup they looked a bette...

Re: Maidstone v Dartford Tue 9 Jan 2024

Yes I suspect we may get a result at Maidstone after their heroics in the Cup and especially if they get a great draw in the 4th round their minds might not be on a rearranged Tuesday night league game. And if our team raise their game and play like they did in the two fixtures against Ebbsfleet las...

Brendon Barzey scores with a freaky cross/shot as Hemel Hempstead beat the side that stuffed us St Albans by 2-1. Shaun Jeffers who always seems to score wonderful goals against us is sent off.

Re: Ebb$fl££t in the news again!

The Kuwaiti Chairman of Ebbsfleet for the last 10 years Abdullah al-Humaidi has stood down after being declared Bankrupt recently. His cousin will take over the job, let's hope he likes football. The family of course are involved in the proposed Theme Park which appears to have collapsed.

Re: Tonbridge Angels v Dartford Sat 16 Dec 2023

Just watched Tonbridge's excellent highlights on You Tube ( sorry I don't know how to transfer them onto this site), but a very strange incident in the 2nd half when Harvey appears to put a Tonbridge player in hospital with his elbow. Mo Diarra then appears to remonstrate with Harvey Bradbury and gi...

Tom Bonner sent off playing for Cray Wanderers at Hastag Utd. Andy Pugh scores two for Phoenix Sports but 38 year old Ryan Hayes scores another beauty in their 3-1 win over Ashford Town.

Re: Dartford v Chelmsford City Tue 7 Nov 2023

Did seem a strange thing for Luke Coulson to do, it did kick off the pushing and shoving and I suspect made the Referee GUESS at what had happened though the highlights seem to show Harvey swing an elbow. A great save from their keeper to keep out Max Statham's header.
