Due to part of the planning conditions around the building of Princes Park, it has been necessary to make any match with an expected crowd of 2000+ all ticket. This is for a number of reasons, including traffic management of the roads surrounding the stadium and the health and safety certificate.

Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire stadium, internal or external, with no exceptions. This policy applies to all employees, supporters, consultants, contractors, customers or members and visitors. The gates are open at half time (do not lose your ticket) to cater for smokers. You are not allowed to consume alcohol on the terraces.

The main bar at the stadium is situated on the first floor within the ground.

Non alcoholic beverages & food can be bought from the refreshment pods behind each goal.

There are two turnstiles at either end of the ground, with a 5th at the Academy end for season ticket holders.

By plane:

The nearest airport to Dartford is London City Airport. A Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station is located next to the terminal entrance & from there go to Woolwich Arsenal. It will take approx 7 minutes. There are frequent trains from Woolwich Arsenal to Dartford on the South Eastern line. A fast train (Woolwich Arsenal, Abbey Wood, Dartford) will take approx 15 mins.

When you come out of Dartford railway station, go straight on towards the footbridge, then go down the steps (right of the footbridge), then turn left. The Fastrack bus stop is there.

If you are walking from the station, do as per above, ie walk down the steps, turn left into Home Gardens. Cross the road (Station Approach) that leads up to the station & follow the road round to the right (Waitrose will be on your right on the other side of the road. Waitrose closed down Feb 2014, Aldi opening 25th June 2015). You'll pass some bus stops, cross Overy Street go towards the traffic lights. Cross over at the traffic lights, but do not walk up the road where the bus lane is (although you could, but you'll miss the first pub). Turn left & walk past Amar Hall & take the first right. This is Darenth Road.

On your right there is a Youngs pub called the Malt Shovel: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/67/6757/Malt_Shovel/Dartford

The Malt Shovel appears in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Sat Nav POI's are here: Camra Sat Nav

If you carry walking up Darenth Road, on your left on the corner of Brent Lane, there is another pub called
The Ivy Leaf: http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/29/29591/Ivy_Leaf/Dartford

Carry walking up Darenth Road. At the lights, you'll find Princes Road. Cross over & keep going straight (Darenth
Road). The first left is David Lloyd fitness centre, the second left is Grassbanks. This is the car park entrance to
the stadium. Walk up the hill & you're there. Distance is just over a mile from station to stadium.

List of selected other pubs

The alternative train route is to get a train to Ebbsfleet International Station & catch a Fastrack B bus to the gates of Princes Park. However it will take you round the houses to get there, also taking in Bluewater & Darent Valley Hospital. Maybe easier to get a cab.
Personally, I use All Night Cars (01322 221100, 01322 222000, 01322 220053)

The alternative bus route is to get a small bus called the Dart 2 (purple in colour) that you can catch from Market Street to Princes Road (bus stop marked David Lloyd) & from Princes Road to Home Gardens which is near Dartford Station. But going back will take you round the houses. Website

Street parking is available in the surrounding area & if you park sensibly, it should not be a problem.
Use Google StreetView to do a "recky" of the area beforehand.

You could always park in Bluewater (http://www.bluewater.co.uk) (13,000 car spaces) & get a Fastrack "B" bus to the stadium (stops right outside Dartford FC (Princes Park) & do some shopping before/after the game.
Bus journey approx 15 mins. The buses also have free WIFI, as does Bluewater (http://www.bluewater.co.uk/content/wifi)

There are no buses from Dartford train station directly to the Hilton.

Nearest you could get is from the station to Milestone Road (leaving you about a 20 min walk) getting either the no coinage taken "492" or the 480/490, getting off the bus & walking up the road to the right passing Costcutter etc. Get to the main lights, turn left into Cotton Lane & cross by the lights to the other side & turn left, past the new development (which used to be Stone House Hospital) & judo/bowls club on the right), all the way down,
then follow the pavement as it bends right & the Hilton is on your right. It would be easier/quicker to call a cab whilst on the train.

At the end of Crossways (in the direction of the bridge) & about a 15 min walk, there is a 24 hour Asda (on the left) just before Greenhithe railway station, which might be a better option than Dartford train station. There is also a Burger King closer on the right & a Costa Coffee even closer to the Hilton on the right.
